They hit close to 10% so the 90% of times they don't hit is probably 40% K's, 25% flyouts, 15% groundouts and 10% walks.

10% walks is too high, I rarely see a pitcher walk
that's just terrible pitching on the other side
I think 40% is accurate number though, I always see them striking out

Instead of creating your 84th thread of the day, take the time and research it; you are a college boy after all.

Thats is not how you post whore, in order to post 500 times a day you need to have 50 conversations going.
*****MODS******** we gotta do something about this crap I will gladly do away with the point system in order to eliminate the forum crapping.

some of the strikeouts come from them trying to bunt, I wonder what it is in non bunting situations also.

A typical battor strikes out 12% of the time and bats about .250.
A typical pitcher hits about .140 with less slugging, but I don't have KO stats, but I would guess about 16 or 17%.

I know the Braves if there is a man on base the pitcher always bunts for a sacrifice.

'Good guess' is all it was, but then again any guess can qualify as 'good' I reckon.
You guys do know there are easy-access sites to tell y'all this, right?
The Astros pitching staff is running about 30%, Dodgers around 29%, Braves 26%. As Yogi might say, "You could look it up," and that's exactly what you can do for the other 13 NL clubs.
