Tommy John was a good pitcher and a good guy. I remember too he had trouble giving interviews because of a stuttering problem that he over came.
Class guy!
Does Dodger pitcher John Ely qualify in the category of two first names?

Also, never trust a pitcher with two first names. Screw Tommy John.
I've met Tommy John (twice) and he is a pretty nice guy.

Rick was a one-year flash in the pan. Besides, he has a questionable past of stealing cars and sleeping with other player's wives.

its kinda like, how it is crazy that Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gehrig's disease
Pretty high since it was named after him mainly in north america, The real name Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis aka ALS abbreviated.

And you think this was due to him wearing glasses? Maybe he needs to learn how to hold the ball properly to throw curves and sliders before he needs to work on his vision.
