I've seen them..I'm not sure that's for me. I'm going to buy a new big screen but I'm not sure which way to go. It's either going to be LED or LCD..I wan't the brighter picture.

I'm also not sure what brand name. I've been a long time SONY guy but the LG's look pretty good too.

Any recommendations?

3D gives me a headache after awhile. Plasma is better than LCD.

My advice to people is if you don't mind waiting 1 or 2 years I would wait for the OLED's... These will have a FAR better picture then anything now but if you can't wait then go with LED over LCD...

You can get a good deal on Plasmas now and they have a comparable picture overall to LED's... Most if not every new TV made should be 3D Ready or 120Hz (60 for the left eye and 60 for the right) but the OLEDs will work much better for 3D not to mention other things like touchscreen and brightness...

I like Sony and Samsung for TV's but if you are a DTV customer then Panasonic might be better here because DTV is using their platform for the 3D... I am not saying it will make a differance but I like to match things that are new...
