Why cant SBR's Posters spell "LOSE"??
    Loose????

    Really, loose?

I lose all the time. But havent loosed a bet ever.

Though according to various posters it happens all the time. Loose's that is...

As you can see, the winnings numbers were 12 times only big numbers, between 19-36... I would like to have your opinion regarding this...the chances of one like this to happen... Thank you.

The habitual misuse of the word loose, just boggles my mind.

It stops here.... Today the collective IQ of SBR is increased one point, because we will spell it lose.

    SBR you are on notice.

Most common spelling errors on here are.................

    Your when they mean you're.

Soooooooo many people confuse/misuse then and than.

As you pointed out already lose and loose.

I am guilty of taking liberties with the spelling of words in order to make it sound hick'ish or exaggerated. I am also anal and many time will type my post in Word and copy and paste to thread.

I brought this up not long ago. I find it pretty funny now, but got on my nerves at first. It's not like it's one of those words you never see or use. When you're a gambler the word LOSE is in your daily life alot more than you want. How you can misspell it time & time again is really beyond me.

The other 2 are just as bad IMO. Its easy to make typing mistakes, and I cut the g off alot of words to save time, like jokin or kiddin, but you can tell when someone makes a mistake & when someone just doesn't know English grammar.

The top two are actually much worse.

This is simple and basic grammar that most of were taught by the 3rd grade.

I'm really anal about proper English in my day-to-day life, but I just try to remind myself that English isn't the first language of a lot of guys on here so that helps when I'm ready to loose it!

Being a gambler in Australia though, it still does my head in when I hear someone say: "They bet them 4-0". I keep thinking they're talking about laying money on something. Nope. Talking about the final score in a game.

A retarded Turkish 3rd grader with Chinese parents being taught English by a Portugese woman with a lisp can type the English language better than alot of guys on here who "speak" it as their first language.
