Just had a buddy lose his 14 year old son to a tragic accident with a weapon.. I really hope this isn't made into a joke, because he is really in need of everyones prayers.. I haven't been online lately and won't be the next few days as we are going to be giving what we can and running fund raisers.. Please keep him and his son in your thoughts and take an extra second to hug your kids and enjoy every second you have with them..

this just happened a few miles away from my house today as a matter of fact...Im in Sacramento
I just dont understand how parents leave loaded guns laying around
there was a story about 2 months ago about the same thing happening in a surrounding area....except the parent was a cop who left his gun safe open and his daughter shot herself and died
the cop was cleared of any wrong doing

It was a rifle and it wasn't just laying around.. He was very active outdoors with his son. His son was cleaning his weapon and made a huge mistake. They thought the rifle was empty, while there was still a round in the chamber.. The son shot himself in the face. His wife was in the next room, heard the shot and ran in there and found him.
Very bad mistake made by a family that is smarter than that... Its a bad situation and they are paying dearly... Just a rough time for everyone..
