What to do in Philly?

Yo fellas, so I go to school in Philly (East Falls/Manayunk area) and everyone went home for summer and Im still down here by myself taking summer classes. So im bored and looking for things to do and some trouble to get into.

Any of you degens know any good spots around here? Maybe a card game or solid pool hall or anything like that to do around here or in the city?

WONT HAPPEN. I used to live in Columbia Heights uptown DC NW. And they forced all the poor people from there and built it up. As far as Anacosita, the goons will remain. I havent stepped foot down there since I was 10. But SW DC is getting better especially with the addition of the new stadium. Choppa City (SE) uneployment is at 12-14%. DC is pushing all of the poor into SE or to PG County. And now our murder rates and crimes are up.

If you can handle yourself you can go either up Belmont Ave cross City Line Ave past the "man" music until you hit Girard
make a right on Girard Ave at light make right onto Lancaster ave and at 2nd light make left onto Thompson and go to 50th.They have a crap game everyday nearby just ask
and there is a card room/racebook/sportbook off the Blue route at MacDade exit but that's invite only and some high roller action

The best pool hall is on West Chester Pike at 320 next to the MacDonalds and they used to have a card room/casino above on weekends but it is also a bar and I have not been there in years

plus the Muddy Duck on City Line if you ask one of the bartenders,maybe they can direct you they were all degenerates

yeah that tends to happen with economic development, push the unwanteds to a different area, sucks that it leaking into PG county for you guys. I had no idea unemployment was that high.

There is a poker game I played at a bar in Manayunk not to long ago. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. A guy I work with took me. I wont see him till friday. I'll ask him then. Good time. Bar sponsored game and then side games after for a few dollars. If your into good music and dont mind about a 20 minute drive, My buddy plays an acoustic gig every wednesday at the Bridgeport Ribhouse in Plymouth Meeting. Great food, good music. Tell them Jiggy sent you. Lead singer is one of my best friends. Check out their website too or iTunes. www.fosterchildrocks.com Grape St. rock club also reopened in Manayunk too on Main St. Always good bands playing there.

Minet, good looks man. Yea, im right up the street from City Ave. Not much of a craps player though, but im definitely gunna try to check out that pool hall and that bar on City Line, maybe I can find a hook up to that place off MacDade.

The Bridgeport is in a totally different direction than Jersey. It's near King of Prussia, unless there is another one I don't know of.
