if so hows the ninja 250 r is it a good bike for a newbie.would be my first bike getting it for 2,000.00 a 2006 low miles good deal or bad.

If you are taller than 5'-8" I wouldn't recommend the 250 Ninja. I had one in college and it only tops 90 mph on a good day. Very compact bike. It's good for beginners and girls.

$2000 is a good deal. They go $3000 brand new.

If you're a grown man it's too small. I would get a 500 or 600 instead.
