past his prime? he had his best year era wise in ny a couple years back, and dealt with injuries last year.
Guy's only 31, early thirties is a pitcher's prime years.

Well in truth there was no reason to think that at 29 he was "past his prime". And it really hard to pinpoint what caused his biggest issue, the fact his K/9 rate dropped from 9.7 to to 7.9
