i'm into powerlifting and have been told i'm pretty good for my weight. here's me deadlifting 405lbs a few months ago (no straps, jsut raw grip), i'm up to 495 currently, which is good for my body weight of 154lbs.
i used to be a track star in high school and raced and got clobbered by an Olympian at the provincials who went on to race USAIN BOLT at the Olympics!. that could have been me if not for my leg injury. (that's what i keep telling myself, but i didnt stand a chance)
btw, i'm black and i suck at basketball

NASCAR is a sport, so
I have served time for outrunning a cop, being clocked at one point doing 127mph
once flipped a convertible 4 times with no seatbelt on. I stayed in the vehicle but both my shoes were found several hundred feet away

I think he was thinking of clean and jerk. Deadlift is a very slow moving non athletic lift.

decent numbers at that weight Masau, you gotta work on that form though..... gonna put your lower back out sooner or later..... bend your knees deeper, and don't straighten up as fast.... you are almost doing a modified stiff legged deadlift.... and keep your arms straight, looks like you are starting to shrug the weight up when you get full upright. You'd get red lighted in meets for that extra "hitch".
I had the same problem way back in college, and I eventually had to swallow my pride and stop using so much weight, and learn the proper technique and strengthen my legs for the first 1/3 of the movement

thanks for the advice, i try not to do that little jerk at the top anymore every since i made the vid. as for the rest of my form, i've heard so many contradictory and different things from everyone. some say my form is perfect, some say spine needs to be straight and shoulders pulled back, some say spine straight but shoulders dont need to be pulled back, use of legs makes it easier vs non-use of legs etc.... powerlifters at my gym say i've always done it perfect, but i know i can improve though.

Shaun Pruitt scored 34 on me. Brian Randle dunked on me.
I knocked a kid out in football. Screen pass, that got blown up.
I got knocked out in practice, slant straight into the MLB.
Pissed away every scholarship offer, because I realized being white and a receiver would neighbor make me money. So I worked before high school part time from 4-730 every morning, then they offered me a job for 16 bucks straight outta high school. So I said I'd rather not blow 10-50 grand on college(however much it costs) when I could be making money.

Nice we made it to Regionals my first two years. Where did you play? When did you graduate?
according to that chart, for a little guy like a db or small slot receiver a 2.7 sec 20 yard dash is "above avg" but no where near elite... I would think a 20 meter time of 2.78 would equate to about 2.7 in 20 yards..
rough estimate of a 40 yard dash time would be 4.6-4.7 maybe even 4.8

What I did was 2.78/20 = 0.139
Theres 18.288 metres in 20 yards, therefore 0.139 * 18.288 = 2.542sec so close to world class on the table...
