WTF? Two winning wagers disappeared @ Diamond.....?
Earlier today I put in two last minute bets tonight for CFB on Kansas -2.5 -110 and Toledo -3.5 -110, both to win $100. Minutes ago I just logged into my Diamond account to see that both bets (winners) were not recorded! Pending bets didn't show anything, history didn't show anything. It was as if I never placed anything, but I vividly remember placing both bets right at gametime (7pm-ish)! I don't have any proof or wagering receipts (i.e. ticket numbers) because I never keep them. I've made over 1000 bets, and I usually make 10-20 every weekend, and not once have I ever recorded my ticket numbers. All my bets (win or lose) have gone through and I've never faced a problem until today. I just spoke to live support and they told me they have no history of me placing those two bets but they'd file a claim for me.

I don't see how this could happen but I can think of a few scenarios.

    a) their betting system had a glitch
    b) they didn't want me putting in a bet late
    c) they didn't want me to win

I really don't know what to say, but this is messed up. I'm out a profit of 2 units, I don't know what's going to happen, and it's my word against the book's. I know it's not much and it's only $200, but money is money and mistakes are mistakes.

Are you sure you clicked on all the confirm screens

Diamond has a lot of confirm screens. I believe you have to confirm twice. The first confirm sets it up, then you put in an amount, then a screen comes up with the amount and payoff and you must confirm again, and then you get a ticket number. I myself have gone to Diamond and my bet wasn't there, but I had time to put it in again and it turned out I did not click on all their confirm screens.

Possibility two: Are you sure you did not put in the bet after the game started? In this case they may delete it, but usually it would show up in your history as a deleted bet. I think this is possible, but I don't know how they handle deletion of bets based on past posting and erroneous lines.

Option c), they didn't want you to win. Not an option here. This sportsbook group, Bookmaker, Diamond, Cris - they are absolutely not going to steal legitimate bets so someone doesn't win. They have no history of doing this. If they started to do this, they would not be able to remain in business. There are people who routinely make $5000 bets with them.

They would much rather keep you as a customer, and have you refer all your friends, than steal $200. Was the money taken out of your account?

There may be a computer glitch, but without the ticket numbers how can they investigate? This sportsbook group, Bookmaker, Diamond, Cris - they are absolutely not going to steal bets on purpose.

Yes I know, I've been betting at Diamond a lot the past 2 months and I am quite familiar with their system. I am quite sure I put those bets in, just don't know why they aren't showing up in the history...I don't want to accuse anyone of stealing, but I certainly didn't make this up for fun and I'm certainly not trying to rob them of $200....I'll email SBR once Diamond gets back to me about the claim

        computer glitch is possible

I want you to know that I believe you. At the same time I believe that Diamond would never steal $200 from a customer. What's left is maybe a possible computer glitch, if you are sure you pressed all their confirm screens. There is also the possibility of a dishonest employee at Diamond. I am interested in hearing how this turns out; I play at Diamond all the time. Good luck! Where is the $200, is it no longer in your account??? If it just dissapeared from your account, then Diamond has to account for it. If it is still in your account, they are probably going to claim you never made the bet.

That is why I screen shoot every bet I make. It takes a little bit of time, but saves me from writing down ticket numbers etc. I had one dispute, sent the screen shot and it was resolved. If you use firefox someone posted a screen shot tool, if you use IE get the sbr one.

Let us know how it turns out MTX.

I can confirm that this may be the case. CRIS/DSI software had a glitch last year (after the layout change), but I thought it was all taken care of. Basically if a line changed (or for this matter -- closed for betting) you would get a confirmation screen, clearly stating that the bet was accepted. However, ticket number would be blank (or 0) and the bet wasn't actually placed at all. They should be able to retrieve the history of placing those bets and tell if this was really the case.

                Exactly sir.

I guess you could c&p the ticket numbers in notepad, but the screen shot tool here at SBR is really the best route to go. Especially when you have picture proof it if.

Why didn't you just wait to do this before taking it to the forums?
