You've always been curious about having a casual encounter through Craigslist. Now you can do it for real.

Things You'll Need:

• computer, cell phone, internet access, condoms, enough money for a drink and a cab ride home

   As a man, you're at a severe disadvantage on the personals. Don't be bitter, just accept it. Don't bother posting an ad, just reply to ones that look interesting.
   
   Pay attention to what she is looking for -- if she says no married guys and you are married, don't waste her time. If she says no one over 30 and you are 32, don't lie. This is the age of Google, she will find out. Just find someone who wants what you got.

   So you've found a few women! Awesome.
   
   Create a disposable email address that is not tied to your regular accounts. Do not send from your corporate work email. Send a brief, thoughtful reply. Do not send a form letter or phone number in the very first message (that reeks of desperation, which will make her run). Be funny. Compliment her writing style. Do not write in all caps.
   
   Women respond to subtlety, so try to find something she wrote in her ad and mention it. If attaching a photo, do not send one of your ****. She doesn't want to see it until she knows you, trust me.
   
   Realize this stage may take a while. If you are looking to meet right away, don't push her. It's okay to email, talk on the phone or IM for a bit to feel each other out. This is as much for her safety as it is for yours.

   So you've found someone and you think you want to meet! That's just swell.
   
   Meet at a public place first. It's tempting to want to meet at home or at your hotel, but you never know if you're going to meet and just not feel any physical chemistry.
   
   Bring condoms, pay for the first round and if you're not feeling it, exit gracefully. Don't disappear like a coward or make up an excuse.
   
   If you are both into it, have fun!
2. Step 4
   Some people will say that a one night stand has to be exited as soon as the deed is done or it hits morning time. I say: there are no rules for this. If you are both comfortable and want to go for a few more rounds, by all means.
   
   If you end up staying overnight at her place, wake her up when you leave (unless you want to do it again!) to say goodbye. If she stays overnight at your place, don't push her out and always offer coffee. Let her know if you genuinely want to see her again, many women will assume you don't. If this was it and it looks like she want another date, let her down gently. The worst thing is to lead her on.
   
   Even in casual sex, it's important to treat people kindly.
