I'm sure this are beaten like a dead horse...However i was hopeing someone would be so kind as to share a link or website with me that will give me good tips/info on money management for sports betting. I have a basic idea of what i'm doing, and am looking for a good read. Never hurts to brush up on such important aspects as money management.

but you could also go 5-1 and lose money.
It's a fact that all bettors who dont use money management will go broke some day.
It might take 2 days , 3 months or 2 years but a bad losing streak will come eventually and wipe out your account if you dont follow strict money management rules.


I just had the worst streak of my betting career the last 3 weeks at the beginning of baseball season .
I lost about 20-30 units, although most of my plays actually beat the closing line.
If i hadnt used money management my entire account would be gone by now, but instead i rebounded nicely last week and i am only down about 5-10 units now for the last 4 weeks.

i have been experimenting recently with increasing my bet sizes after a winning day, and downsizing after a losing day....thanks to a bad run, i was betting 2.50 a game yesterday

Having 10% of your BR working (going at once) in one night is huge! That would be like five bets of 2% playing at one time. So, having 100% working in one night is beyond risky

I play around 1% or lower, but I have around 15 bets a day.

15% is within limits I like to spread my bets out and have a conclusion on earlier bets before laying out more. Just me tho
