EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Woods offered five-year $100m deal by bookies BodogBrand - with 'no moral judgement clause'

Though his personal life is in the rough and his golf game is as wayward as his sex-life, it seems Tiger Woods still can hit the green.

Despite losing huge endorsement deals after being forced into issuing a cringing public apology for being unfaithful to his wife, Woods still has pulling power.

For online gaming company Bodogbrand.com are offering the world No 1 a stunning $100million five-year sponsorship deal with a no-strings-attached clause.
    Tiger Woods

At last some good news: Tiger Woods has been offered $100m by bodogBrand.com

The first billionaire sportsman, Woods had been estimated to have earned about $100m (£65m) a year in endorsements before his private life unravelled after he crashed his car outside his Florida home on November 27.
'Bodog Brand is not telling Tiger “all is forgiven”. In BodogBrand’s eyes, there is nothing to forgive'

    Calvin Ayre, BodogBrand founder

AT&T, Accenture and Gatorade were among the high-profile clients to desert him. Gillette and Tag Heuer, the watchmaker, also severed ties.

Though Woods has still to find his form after taking a three-month sabbatical and then sensationally missing the cut in the Quail Hollow Championship at Sawgrass, it seems his stock isn’t as tarnished as first thought.

Having initially approached Tiger Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg (IMG), in January, then, as requested, again in March by fax, BodogBrand today resubmitted a third offer that is unique in sponsorship terms as it includes a 'no moral judgement clause'.

Earlier this year both BodogBrand and Irish bookmaker Paddy Power submitted an offer to sponsor Tiger Woods. Paddy Power were turned down.
    Calvin Ayre

Serious offer: Calvin Ayre, bodogBrand's founder and owner

With divorce looming, Woods has been approached again by BodogBrand, who have now re-tailored their sponsorship offer with what is believed to be the first ever 'no moral conditions' offer, whereby the $100m five-year deal will be honoured without condition on the player’s moral conduct.

‘BodogBrand feel they are the only ones who can extend a deal that will be totally unaffected by any non-golf related activity. We actively encourage and endorse employees and customers alike to “Play Hard”,’ said BodogBrand founder Calvin Ayre.

He added: ‘The Deal? Whatever it takes! BodogBrand is happy to sponsor and help Tiger get back to his best by any means necessary.’

Woods has been suffering from a bulging disc in his neck and is not planning to enter any tournaments until June 3, when he hopes to defend his title at the Memorial.

He has won the event four times and has used it as a final tune-up for the US Open. But if he’s still pronounced unfit for battle by then, it will mean going into the Open at Pebble Beach about as rusty as he was at the Masters.

But that has not fazed Ayre, who is keen to get the deal done.

‘To be clear, Bodog Brand is not telling Tiger “all is forgiven”. In Bodog Brand’s eyes, there is nothing to forgive,’ said Ayre.
    Tiger woods and Elin Nordegren

Costly divorce looming: And Tiger Woods will need extra cash once he's paid off his wife Elin Nordegren

Woods also suffered lurid claims that he took prescription drugs to boost his sex life with one of his alleged mistresses.

Rachel Uchitel, 34, told friends that she and Woods took the sleeping pill Ambien before having sex.

But Ayre isn’t bothered. He added: ‘On the road to recovery people take all sorts of different pain killers, therapy, drugs – who is to say which are legal and which are not.
Surely, all medicine is “performance enhancing”– that’s what medicine is for!

‘Every single drug, be it for a headache, sexual performance, legal “hyperbaric chambers” regularly used by athletes, or indeed laser eye surgery.

‘Woods has had corrective surgery to improve his vision which he freely admits helps his game, similarly Mark McGwire uses contact lenses and there can be no doubt that vision is all important in baseball and, therefore, should it not be illegal?

‘BodogBrand believes you should do whatever it takes to be world No 1 and will back Tiger Woods to the tune of $100,000,000 to do just that no matter what allegations – substantiated or otherwise – appear during the five-year deal.’

This is terrible news, hopefully Bodog is joking and this never comes a realtiy.

BODOG is always trying to get to big for their own britches, and ultimately they are going to not only ruin it for themselves, but all of us involved with offshore gaming.

I would love for BODOG to just "GO AWAY"

Typical PR stunt. They know Tiger is not going to take $20 mil a year to endorse an offshore sportsbook. We estimated Tiger's income at $1 million a day, no days off or holidays.

You are talking about this, so Bodog has already won. Tiger isn't taking the $100 mil, but the $50 press release just got them several thousands of free advertising.

Bodog will juice their already juiced up lines. Here's one from men's tennis for example.

                        1210 Gianni Mina +350
                        1211 Lukasz Kubot -550

New lines after they sign tiger:

                        1210 Gianni Mina +250
                        1211 Lukasz Kubot -650

Great publicity stunt! sorry a will not go to the link because I choose not to support this pathetic publicity garbage

Maybe instead of paying Tiger a million you take that million and give back to the players by not posting up such over inflated lines, this would be a better way to get your name out there as a good book and not just as the book who pitched an offer which they knew would not be accepted to Tiger Woods

I agree that it's a PR stunt; if any sportsbook really wanted Tiger as a spokesman or to wear their apparel, there would be no colorful articles making light of his personal transgressions. If Tiger did sign that would be mammoth news in and of itself - without the off the cuff puns or cheesy press releases required.
