my favorite comedian ever, bill hicks, has finally had what seems to be a real, proper documentary made about him that gets across his message, and even better than that, looks like it would be an enjoyable watch for someone who hasn't heard of him before. he passed in 1994 and still hasn't received the recognition he deserves. it utilizes still photographs to create animated scenes once impossible to recreate before, in addition to showing actual clips. this is only showing overseas other than its american debut this weekend at the sxsw festival in austin. i can't wait to see this.
