            yes! and what i heard of the new heaven and hell shit was fukking badass. i need to get (download for free somewhere) that record, can't believe i've put it off this long.

            man he was 67 but clearly he was taken from us too soon. just a testament to how timeless and awesome he was. never made any gay songs like mama i'm coming home and shit like that. never crossed over. as cliche as it sounds, he was true to the real spirit of metal til the day he died.

              A real musical loss. He fought to the end and was hoping to do another tour. The guys in that era and in that part of rock are fruit cakes but not Dio. He was allll class. I was hoping to see him again. I saw him when he was with Rainbow like 30 years ago and still remember that voice. RIP

                Ozzy kind of lost his mind a bit. Dio seemed rational, passionate and principled whenever I saw him interviewed.
