We shouldnt be discussing previous presidents at all

Ths current state of the us is a compilation of many presidential terms where decisions were made that hadnt panned out.


However tha trend of comparing obama's term to bush's term is just uncalled for. It doesnt matter what bush did, it matters what obama is doing. Sure obama inherited some problems, but he isnt fixing them, he is making them worse.

Obama doesnt need to be critiqued by comparing him to someone else. he needs to be critiqued on what he is doing now.

The deficit, unemployment and bank closures have all increased due to obamas decisions. Check how many bank closures under his term. its over 150 now i believe. http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/.../banklist.html

Just like in our jobs, we dont get critiqued on our previous staffer, we are rated on our performance. and so should this president.

I agree, but it's just like a football coach taking over a team in disarray. You don't turn the Detroit lions into a play off team in one year and a superbowl contender in 2. When shit is fuked up, it takes time to unfuk it! It seems like everyone is already judging this presidents term that lasts 4 years on 1 year. I saw 8 years of Bush so I can compare in the sense that it would take some real fuked up stuff for this president to do worse

We let Presidents have 4 though for some reason. Then with fear tactics, they can suck for 4 and get the american people to believe that if we dont elect them again we are all gonna die

Obama is not worthy enough to be compared to Bush. Jimmy Carter however? It seems like Obama is finishing out Carters 2nd term.

it must be little town banks that are failing, cause credit unions seem to be doing well. And all those big huge banks that forced the US into giving them money cause they were "broke" and were going to fail and destroy the whole economy if they didn't get their billions, all are making huge profits.

Also as the Daily Show pointed out. The US government is the worst loan shark in the world. They gave those huge banks basically zero interest loans, now these banks just happen to be all great and making huge profits, and are now in turn lending money to the US at high interest to help the government pay for the bailout that bailed them out.
