I know we all enjoy having fun with the Shanty character, hell I have even donated points to him as a way of participating in the running joke. That said though, this is a REAL contest with REAL members who are competing and SOME of you are wasting votes on a pretend poster. I mean if you feel Blackie with all he has done for players at his book in promotions and what not deserves a break and should only pay for one free trip then cool. However if you truly want to help 1 of 5 actual people win a free trip and participate then there are ONLY 5 choices

many people have had extensive and ongoing interactions with him for a long time now

it's not even remotely an issue anymore, except to people who are "sure" of it because of what he posts


the people who know he's real have tons of convincing "evidence", the people who think he's not only have his posts and their "common sense"

I believe in God as well. Not sure if it's because it's real, valid faith or somply because I was raised to believe. There are those who have said they have spoke to God. There are those that say they have seen signs by way of miracles that varify his existance. If one of the contestants in this contest were God himself I would still would say that posters who are VARIFIED deserve the votes.

I will admit though if God were to win it would give Rebate Wager a leg up on the competetion.
