A scalp at the same book on a futures bet. Will the bet stand?

Before I get all my friends to dump money on this one, can someone tell me if this is normal?

Lebron to stay at the Cavs +200
He'll play at any other team +265

And then there are various other teams listed with higher lines.

I understand you have to wait until the official announcement to get paid so maybe the line's okay since they'll have your money for awhile. But I don't normally pay too much attention to these kind of futures bets and don't want my friends to go through the hassle of signing up and then having to provide withdrawal docs for no profit.

Any time a book offers you 2 "+" lines simultaneously without the wager having a third option whereas you lose both bets it is a bad line and 1 side of the wager will likely be cancelled and you may no longer be welcome to play at this book if you arb this.

More importantly you need to take into consideration the amount of time these funds will be tied up for and whether it is worth it to risk an arb that is likely to be canceled or has a possible lose both bets scenario or should you simply put those funds in a savings account.

Even if you meant to state that the line was -200/+265 this is still a bad line without a third option.

These lines were part of a larger futures line. But these were the two smallest and the only ones I was concerned with so I only listed them in this thread. Listed them all in another thread somewhere.

The money being held for so long didn't bother me at all but thankfully they've been cancelled and I've learned my lesson. Strictly regular betting for me.

They're shocking! Absolutely can't stand them. And then they gave me the runaround the other night/morning here telling me that they'll do me a favour and TELL me the line early since I'm a 'Premium Player' which I by no means am. Think they just got scared by my going off at them considering I hadn't slept. And even still, I had to wait until 6am to place the damn bet anyway.

I do have CentreBet but haven't really been using them much at all. Was going to last night during the Collingwood match but ended up falling asleep. Also with sportsbet as well but for some reason I always just use sportingbet as my main book. NO MORE.

Well it turns out it was a dud. The person on the phone gave me the wrong info but thankfully they've cancelled my bets when I double checked with someone else. Would've been in big trouble if not.
