I know we all enjoy having fun with the Shanty character, hell I have even donated points to him as a way of participating in the running joke. That said though, this is a REAL contest with REAL members who are competing and SOME of you are wasting votes on a pretend poster. I mean if you feel Blackie with all he has done for players at his book in promotions and what not deserves a break and should only pay for one free trip then cool. However if you truly want to help 1 of 5 actual people win a free trip and participate then there are ONLY 5 choices.

jj was offered a trip to CR by blackie many times, the reason he can't go is because he is under some sort of house arrest where he has to wear an ankle bracelet

Use our Commercial Directory to search for the nearest Costa Rican Consulate to your residence. (Click "search" in our Commercial Directory and type in the keyword "consulate" to view a list of Costa Rican Consulates worldwide). Additional requirements apply if you mail the documents. (See below)

It takes two (2) business day to issue your ****. Your **** is a 30-day-one-entry **** once it is issued, you will have 30 days to use it. If you do not enter Costa Rica during that time, your **** will expire and you will need to get a new one.

Do you realize that Shantystar as a citizen of Pakistan can't enter Costa Rica unless he obtains a tourist **** from the Costa Rica Consulate in Pakistan which takes several days? So even if the contest ends right at this moment and Shantystar wins you need to purchase him a round-trip ticket, mail it to Pakistan then if he is lucky to receive it from their post office once it clears Pakistan customs he has to go to find the Costa Rica Consulate in Pakistan (if there is one close by) and apply for a tourist **** assuming all his documents are in order.

It's not as simple as a US or Canadian citizen who doesn't require tourist **** to visit Costa Rica.
