The Lakers are well over the salary cap and there's no way he could fit on that team.

LeBron on the Clippers would work, but the Clippers are not a great situation right now.

kobe has too much of an ego to share the spotlight with another player, lebron won't lay down either so it won't work for a full season, it only works in team USA
both of them want to dominate the ball, there won't be enough balls to be passed around

Lakers already have $83-million on the books for 2010-11.

Unless LeBron takes the full MLE instead of a max contract (costing him possibly hundreds of millions) he won't be a Laker.
