His whole case ruined everything for Stern. The league is under intense scrutiny and it is killing him that he couldnt alter or get these series extended. Stern sat on the sidelines thru no choice of his and its has cost his league millions in revenue. Its a sad reality for stern and its payback.

I remember someone posting yesterday that they were taking the Cavs today because Donaghy said earlier that Stern will make sure Cleveland wins the series. Didn't make any sense to me at all why someone would use that as a factor when making a bet on this one. If anything, him saying that barreled Stern in and placed the league even more under the microscope, forcing Stern to let the series unfold without his interference. And look what's happened as a result.Comment -

i don't think it was entirely donaghy's fault that the refs can and do control the game in many instances, quite a few of which were in the playoffs.
even last night when varejao got smacked in the face with no whistle and boston got 5 quick points.

The NBA has been garbage for years now, and it is now time to pay the piper. For years, sharps in Vegas knew how series were going to play out. Stern is nothing more than an old blind fool. How much money have they lost on T.V. contracts this year? The NHL is much more exciting than watching this garbage unfold. Terrible low scoring games featuring little teamwork for the most part.
