#107I am a democrat, but a conservative democrat when it comes to economic issues. Bush put this country in such debt that it will take years to dig out of. Everyone knows this, anyone who wants to argue with this just likes to argue for fun. This housing bubble bursted over 3 years ago due to no government regulation, the war in Iraq is a farce, and yet someone who has been in office a year is getting the blame? I dont think so, people are smarter than that.Comment -

#108No offense, Brock, but we are talking about people who have effected at least someone who we know, not our great great grandfathers. Bush's legacy will be the worst president when we have grandchildren. He did nothing, zero, positive, but fuked up ALOT of thingsComment -

Look at the congress....Democrats.
And he is cleaning it up how????
Spending more...brilliant
The CRA screwed up the mortgage industry and look who was behind it.
The problem with liberals is they confuse the deficit with the debt. Look at Bloomberg's numbers, which put Bush's final (8 year) deficit at $459 billion and Obama's projected one for this year at 1.5 trillion....almost 4 times.Comment -

#111I miss the bush - he was such an evil, arrogant, murderous war criminal that he actually opened some people's eyes... (yes illegal invasion of iraq = war crim. check the fine print if u want)
what a contrast, cigar muncher with his starvation sanctions knowingly caused the deaths of 2 MILLION human beings, but he was slick and efficient and the machine rolled on and no 1 noticed. but the bush was so bad at it (except at persuading people that iraq = ossama bin laden) and so arrogant that a lot of people can now see that the president is not the boss just the manager. the real bosses just keep moving all the money from the public via the military and the banks into their own swollen pockets. u pay in cash and lives to get the oil - they get it and buy small islands in paradise - leaving u in debt and your soldiers in the morgue.
since WW2 the us military has killed more PEOPLE (by far) than any despot.
and u wonder why it is know as the evil empire?
american military attacking other countries = evil

#113Subs, I think along those lines myself. Something I heard years ago. Both parties **** the people... at least the Democrats feel bad when they do! It is a joke. Point, does not matter if we "feel bad", we are fukkers too! On a side note, I promised an apology to Andy this morning for yesterdays tone. Here that is. I am heading north. Planning my escape!Comment -

#132I don`t think anyone can pinpoint ONE point in time, ONE person or ONE administration that sent us down this road that most of us don`t like as a few have suggested. I will suggest that MONEY, not what political party one is aligned with is the reason we are on the ride though. Members of Both parties have been/are dishonest, greedy, act in their own self interest...seems a lot more in the last 50 years or so. Maybe a hundred years. Does not really matter now... Think about it, Does IT Really? Of course not, what matters NOW is how and where we go from here. For REAL CHANGE we would all need to take a week or two off from our jobs to shut down big biz and the gov`t. to make them listen. Bitching like school girls about the past will do NO good as we will NEVER agree. IT DOES NOT MATTER!

#133I suggest one listen to the tune Golden Country by REO SpeedWagon. Check out the tune wherever you listen to and watch videos and tell me that OUR problems are ONE man`s, or ONE administrations fault. The fault is money, selfishness and greed. OK, now I am going fishin`.Comment -

And your point???
