Stroman +115 to stay with the Cubs at DK

Stroman, who has an opt-out clause in his contract after the season, has repeatedly said he wants to stay in Chicago, but he also says that he recognizes the realities of business in Major League Baseball, and he’s ready for whatever comes next.“I know (Cody Bellinger) wants to stay, and I know I would love to stay here, but a lot of that is out of our control,” he said. “At the end of the day, it’s a business and we have to treat it as such, even though we have a lot of love for this fanbase and this organization. I love being a Cub. I love everything about it.”
Stroman has a 10-6 record and a 2.88 ERA this season, with 101 strikeouts in 118.1 innings pitched.
He has made no secret about his desire to stay with the Cubs, and even said Saturday that if he were to leave via trade this summer that he would be open to coming back to Chicago.

I took Bellinger +200 to stay the other day. The limit was $2.50. I sheeet you not.

But yeah, neither is getting traded. The Cubs will end up winning the division.

$2.50 Yikes! although great bet. I mostly stay at the BTC books so my limits are higher at DK than yours.

I have the Reds to make the playoffs and added Cubs to win the division +600. Cubs with a Cincy WC works best. Some teams remaining on the Cubs schedule. Pitts 7 games, Col 6, Tigers 3, Royals 3, WSox 2, Mets 3. Mets may sell more. 24 games out of 59 left.

Cubs look like sellers after dealing Robertson the RP/closer. We shall see. Doesn't mean they'll sell everything, but if they decide to build instead of make a run this year they can get something for veterans like Stroman.

Cubs could go either way depending on this weekend. Cubs traded Robertson in 2022 to the Mets. The Mets traded Robertson to the Marlins this year.

The Mets traded Robertson.

Of course they could get something for Stroman. But I don't see how they can pull on the plug on the season right now on a 7 game winning streak.

I'm essentially banned from DK, and yet, I'm still Onyx for this year and next. I'll get more in rewards than I could possibly win or lose wagering. DK are weirdos.
