Brad Stevens could possibly have something up his sleeve. Tatum does have a player option at the end of his deal. But... could he ever be traded in a blockbuster deal? You don't give Brown that kind of money... unless Tatum's time is running out. There's absolutely ZERO reason to spend that kind of money on Brown unless you have plans for Tatum's departure.

I still don't think you have extra capital left to look for the extra pieces if you extend both Tatum and Brown that kind of money.

Good for these players getting paid but who pays for them?

Going to a sporting event shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

What are you, a communist? The free market decides. It costs that much because there are people willing to pay it. If people weren't willing to pay it, it would cost less.

True to your point but when no one was in attendance in league games during COVID we learned that attendance is irrelevant. No one could ever come to a game and these guys will get paid.

It's not irrelevant forever. They could make it work for a short period, but no way that would work on a permanent basis.

Brown and Tatum don't play off one another like some of the great duos did. Magic Kareem Kobe Shaq Wade Lebron. Your turn my turn isn't gonna work, especially when neither guy is a superstar. I don't give a f about inflated regular season stats. They mean nothing.

It's all relative. Bulls would love to have Brown instead of Lavine. Blazers would love to have him instead of Lillard. Sixers/ Harden, HEAT/ Herro and on and on...

Jaylen Brown is nothing compared to Lillard, and will never, ever reach that level in his entire career.

Imagine how much Brown would be getting paid with 2 good hands? Lol (left hand dribbling is trash)
