It just feels like the Nuggets are way overvalued here. The West was utter dogshit this year. They beat a horrible Wolves team, the Suns without CP3 and Durant who couldn't hit the ocean from the boat. Then a Laker team that had no outside shooting. Why are the Nuggets such heavy favorites? Their season record wasn't the best in the league.

Also, the city of Miami seems to be on a really hot sports streak. All Miami teams are winning across the board from college to the pros.

Agreed, I think their best chance is Game 1. If they don't win that game, they might get swept.

fwiw I think Love will be back in the fray for this series. He's actually a good low-post defender so he will draw Jokic, which in turn enables Bam to be a rover on defense.

The thing I like most about the Nuggets is there's still that sense that Jokic is underappreciated. Embiid won that MVP vote in a landslide -it wasn't just Mark Jackson tactically voting. He's gotten more recognition now, with people like Lillard crawling out from under their rock to say that they got it wrong, but the big guy knows it will take a championship to really change perception.

What are you talking about? Everyone has Denver winning the series like it already happened. Most in five. Every media personality has the Heat turning into a pumpkin and the Nuggets hoisting the hardware.

My two cents: Celtics were a paper-tiger. Mazzulla was exposed over course of the series.

For the Heat to win, I think Spoelstra needs to find an exploit on the Denver HC. Otherwise, the gap is too wide. And the Nugget HCA figures to play out here.

Than it will turn competitive-to make you shit your pants. I think when it turns competitive and ya can get a better line, than hammer the nuggets. Unfortunately you have to worry about the Pat Riley ball washing this league does for him. This league has its favorites and to me it is the only reason this average team is this far.
