Older women, especially.
Simple reason: older women seeking mates or sex partners, either online or in their workplace or neighborhood, will often (always?) lie about their age. Chop either a few years, or a dozen or so.
But it's now well-known that there are a few dozen free people search sites which will tell you the age (and some other info) of anyone you're looking for. You do need to know the city they're in, or at least the county.
I knew a gal in the mid 80s, in So Calif, Orange County. I wanted to check on her, knew she was living in the Los Angeles area, so entered her name and L.A. in one of these sites.
Bingo. It gave me her age, and the town she was currently living. Out of curiousity I ponied up a ten spot (credit card) and got some other info, like her UNLISTED phone number, the name and address of her near relatives, the exact address where she was, and a few other items.
(I'm not a stalker, it was just a matter of idle curiosity. And, she's now pushing 50!!)
I've had several older women tell me, angrily, that this should be made illegal. Even after I pointed out to them that they can also research the guy they just met, either at a local restaurant or online. That for about 40 bucks they can get the criiminal record of someone - nice to know before you take that romantic walk into the sunset whether you new dream guy just was released from the Greybar Hotel after doing 30 years for the ax murder of his dead and buried wife.
