Jim's allegedly connected to a bigtime gang in Boston call the Beanboys. This west side group is dangerous, in fact recent reports suggest the feds have become involved in trying to disrupt this highly organized yet secret outfit. Back in the day, BTJ was connected big time. He engineered a hit on Jerry Angiulo but never got the official okay, so that all went out the window. Real Hollywood stuff. You'd be stunned if you knew all the details; this guy had huge connections within the Winter Hill gang. One of my inside sources in C-Town told me he was friendly with "The Animal" Barboza and was one of the key guys in his crew during the Boston gang wars in the early '60s. I was also told he was instrumental in helping Flemmi escape after the heat became too much for him a few years later.
