Default The Bullseye Week 4 SBR Contest Picks

The Bullseye team is off a 3-2 showing in Week 3 and looks to make it a 3rd straight winning week. Here's who the squad is rolling with for Week 4:

Andrew Brennan - San Francisco 49ers -2 (-115)

"Kyle Shanahan absolutely owns Sean McVay. The 49ers have won the last six regular-season meetings between these teams dating back to 2019. Sure, the Rams prevailed in last year’s NFC Championship Game, but San Francisco likely would have won had Jaquiski Tartt come down with that easy fourth-quarter interception. Look for the 49ers to extend the streak to seven straight regular-season wins over their division rivals in this revenge spot."

Jon Metler - Denver Broncos +3 (-120)

"Surely the Raiders cannot fall to 0-4 can they? I believe the sportsbooks will have to trade the Raiders as 3-point favorites in order to balance liability. However, I do not believe that this is the appropriate number at which the game should be traded. Even though the Raiders are desperate, I believe the Denver Broncos should be the favorites, so I will gladly take the Broncos at +3.

Esten McLaren - Arizona/Carolina Over 43 (-105)

"
The Cardinals remain 31st overall by defensive DVOA with ranks of 30th against the pass and 14th against the run. This allows them to best defend against the Panthers' top and really only true weapon in running back Christian McCaffrey. Meanwhile, the Panthers are 14th overall by DVOA but 17th against the pass and 13th against the run. The Cardinals should build a sizable early lead on the road and their poor pass defense will allow the Panthers to add points late via the passing attack."

Sean Tomlinson - Detroit Lions -4.5 (-109)

"
If it's redemption you seek while wounded and weary, surely you must go with the... Lions -4.5

Eventually, the Lions will go from lovable losers to a team that actually begins to close out games somewhat consistently. Right? It feels like we've been saying that since the Mariucci era, but there could be a corner turn coming, ever so slowly. The Lions' two losses in 2022 have come by a combined seven points, and now the league's second-ranked offense (31.7 points per game) faces a Seattle Seahawks defense that's allowing 397.3 yards per contest. The Seahawks also hold the league's fifth-worst point differential at minus-23."

Michael McClymont - Green Bay Packers -9.5 (-110)

"There's a massive talent discrepancy here. The Packers get this game at Lambeau and against backup Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer, who hasn't won a game since 2016. Packers by two scores."
