Haha profit, your dad story reminds me of one when i was young. I remember on one Sunday, I was playing Tecmo Super bowl on Nintendo and I jump up and Yell TD BO JACKSON and he comes in and says NO WAY! But was dissapointed, or happy i couldnt tell at the time on which side he was on. Couple years later he told me he is not betting on football games anymore. He still loves to gamble on the horses, blackjack and Jai Lai though.
One thing that I have thought about is how this gambling generation is different than our elders. They didn't have the information that we have readily available such as the forums, player info, sports news around the nation etc. I dont remember my dad winning much in sports. He was always betting on the buffalo bills to beat the cowboys in those super bowls. He does fantasy football though and still looks at the lines to get a feel on how the game will go.
