    Bodog - Thieves!
    Hi,

I really not recommended playing on this company! I made a
deposit 100$ using my **** card. Then I was playing poker
and I had a lot of luck so i've won about 2300$. Then I
wanted to payout my cash. There was no option to payout to
my **** card, that's why i had to signed up MoneyBookers
account and deposit 20$, what i've done. Then Bodog sent
to me information that they need documents: photocopy of
ID card, passport, **** card etc. So I sent all documents
needed. After a lot of hours Bodog sent to my e-mail this
    message:

We have received your fax, thank you. The submitted

information are now saved to secure folder.

However, we ask that you kindly contact our security

department in regards to your status.

So I got telephone and called to them. And on the phone
they told me that the photocopy of passport was
counterfeit (fake) and they would give back only the money
i've deposit (120$) and close my account... Now my account
is disable. Of course all documents i've sent to them is
not counterfeit (fake). What I have to do now? I don't
have more documents to send to them.

BTW There was no chipdumping or something like that. They
told me that the reason are my documents (passport)...

If your passport is real and there is nothing else to the story I'm sure you'll get your money. Bodog is not a sportsbook known to stiff people.

        Write Bill at Assistance@Sportsbookreview.com.

These books keep databases of fraudulent ID's. Yours is on it apparently. Has a memeber of your family used it there or someone you know?

We will figure it out if you want.

Your moneybookers account is disabled as well? I realize you haven't been told why, but what would be your best guess as to the reasoning behind that? I'm thinking it probably ties in with the Bodog mess.....

Been with Bodog for a long time.

They may be slow with lines, not give you good bet value, and - since the US anti-gambling laws went into effect - take a month to get a payout check to me. While Bodog is sometimes questionable with customer service, they are fairly safe.

I have not been able to deposit with a credit card at Bodog for over 4 years now (being a US account.)

All I know is you better make sure the funds you deposit there (and at any book) are going to clear before you bet them.

Jason here at SBR should be able to help you.........also go to the SBR site and fill out a complaint form,

PS: You won $2300 playing poker at Bodog starting form a $100 deposit? I always knew the poker players there were labeled as poor because most of them are seen as frustrated and loose sportsbettors, but with the AP scam and collusion always a possibility, it is hard for me to put money down at any poker site now............

Someone at Absolute Poker (AP) was caught using a "super" account (issued to the owner) after a player requested the hand logs - AP sent the player an excel file containing all the information of the early hands in the tournament - including IP addresses. - The "super" player won the tournament using a suspicious betting pattern.

It was determined that this "super" player could see all the hands at the table (including upcoming cards) and bet accordingly.

People who play on-line poker are (or should be) aware of the problems of robot players, house players, and more importantly collusion among players at a table.

Now the open use of these "super" accounts puts the poker sites in a real bind because if you play with significant funds at stake, how can you not be worried that the poker site is just waiting to steal your money?

Thank you...I just read all the info.

I really don't know how anyone can play online poker. What's to stop 2 or 3 people playing at a high stake game, while they are on the phone with each other?
                      Nothing

Yes, I look at online poker as more of practice for going to the poker rooms than for serious play. However the freerolls are a bit of a crap shoot regarding idiot play (all in, all in.....)

I enjoy playing live poker because it is more social (at the low limit tables) and entertaining than other table games at a casino. Can be profitable as well if you play correctly.

I really believe poker has more of a potential for profit versus sportsbetting, but with all the on-line scams going on in poker, I can't put my money there.

At certain times in poker your goal is to extract the maximum amount from other players at the table when you have the best hand - the "nuts" (even on-line). The rest of the time is seemingly spent shooting bluffs and sitting tight.

At no time when you place a sports bet are you certain of anything (unless you are the one affecting the game or know if it is going on.....).
