North Carolina on the verge of legalizing sports wagering including the horses

Bill 688 and or Bill 38 would do the trick if passed. Bill 38 includes the ponies. Would not begin until Jan 23. Hopefully Finally able to wager on the KY DERBY. See what happens next 8 days or so as the session shuts down then. The Governor Roy Copper is ready to sign the bill if presented to him.

Yeah, having options to join Twin Spires or TVG would be nice, especially since you get the live racing plus free PPs. Although I still prefer offshore because the rebates are so much better.

Crazy that states like SC, NC and Georgia don't even allow horse betting.

Has Cherokee opened the sports and racing book yet? I know they delayed it due to the pandemic, but I have not been up there in a few years.

Yes, born and raised. Cut my teeth at Oaklawn in the 80s and still trying to beat the breakage, lol. We are spoiled here with some great racing.

OK Pigpen good deal. Yeah I like Oaklawn Park racing. The rake in the horse racing game is a killer no doubt. I mostly play the tourney sites like Horse tourneys where the hold is lower.

House just rejected the bill by one vote. It's dead for now.

This is the one issue that never runs on party lines. A Republican is leading the charge, and another Republican was the last vote and killed it.

Guess they will try again in 2023 when some of these idiots are voted out.

All you have to do is pick a state where it's legal when you log in on televizzle gizzle. There's no geolocation. Give them your address as an apt in NYC and then do ach deposit. Come on people...try harder

Just what America needs -- another state with a full schedule of -120 favorites . . . or worse.
