Watched "Jaws" last night...

Movie was based on the New Jersey shore attacks of 1916. The film was very well done in my opinion. Even though the shark was mechanical it looked real for that time period.

Needless to say I have that song in my head when I am sitting on my surfboard out in the ocean. Sometimes I'm alone which makes it worse.

Have seen two sharks in the water. One was a baby sand shark; the other I did not stick around to find out. The Fin on it was huge so I paddled and too the next wave in.

Funny how people smoke nonstop in that movie; even in hospitals.

JJ I was a shore kid so every summer my parents would take me down the beach for three months. I know the ocean pretty well and am aware of what sharks look for.

Either way if a sharks want to come after be I would be done for.

Robert Shaw killed it. He's one of the most underrated actors of all time. His speech was incredible.

Classic. The best sign of a great movie is this: When you flip by it on the tube, you can't flip away, you have to watch the whole thing! Due to this, I've probably watched Jaws like 57 times or something.

Everyone in that movie's best performance was in that movie.
