    I have gas problems
It seems to go in cycles where I go days or in worst cases, weeks at a time where I rips farts like mad. There's a fair, but not strong link to what type of foods I eat, it seems. Anti-gas pills, or at least the good ones, are expensive. The cheap ones where you swallow and can't take more than a couple a day are shit.

The biggest thing that seems to help is to not eat a lot. Like when I consume ~2,500 calories in a day instead of ~3,500, that reduces my gas maybe five fold. *rips another one* I ate a fair bit today, including a bunch of this pre-heated ham my grandfather heated. That was good. My stomach hurts atm and I know from experience that this type of food will probably make my body produce enough methane and sulfur to contribute to global warming for the next day or less.

    Anyone have similar issues?

Chocolate makes me fart a lot. Chocolate milk, ice cream, hot chocolate.

Love the stuff but it does a number.

              I feel your pain, poochiecollins.

I have a major gas problem as well. I used to get 23 MPG in town and 30 on the freeway. I need Fuel Sensor's ( four of them ) and some other emissions controls. Costing me 3 grand for my Benz. I am now getting 9 MPG until I get it fixed, it sucks!

You're probably eating too quickly, slow down and your gas is likely to decrease.

I am intrigued by this dairy link. Sometimes I think a food is the main culprit but then it won't give me gas. I think my body adapted to it. Then recently, after not having cereal for days, only because we were out, I just had three bowls, and I can feel my lower insides bubbling up. I know this is going to be a stinky night. I'll be paying attention to the dairy-fart relationship.

i think a lot of times gas is caused by people not washing their hands often enough and contaminating their food when they eat.
then they blame it on the food instead of the bacteria that was on their hands.

I usually wash my hands before eating, and practically always before touching moistened food, but what are you basing this on? (it may contribute)
