SBR apps idea: Who would be interested?
Ok, they are not really "apps" but same concept...

Have you created some sort of spreadsheet formula for betting, written a pdf on how to beat the book on certain events, a sports betting book in doc format, created a calculator for help with betting? Or maybe you have a service you want to sell? A course on beating the book or playing perfect blackjack?

SBR can host these products in the SBR store. Each gets its own page. Authors/sellers get a rating and buyers partake at their own risk. Thoughts?

Good idea Bill. What would SBR charge? What would be your take? The "own risk" could be tricky though.

I think calculators, line move trackers and apps of that nature would be a great addition and it would allow developers a platform to test any apps they may come up with.

Well, the own-risk comes in when someone sells a phone how-to course or a Q&A session. I know when I started if I had the opportunity to pick some guys brains here I would have saved lots of coin...then again I wasn't on a forum already either.

But maybe we start off with tangible things.

I don't know what the rake would be. Something like ebay.

Yea, we are starting to get some offers for these types of things but don't really have a way to host them on the websites.

If someone had something innovative they built for a website, we'd certainly want to hear about it.

I have thought of hiring developers for projects I had in mind and it would be a great place for developers to not only get a product out there but may also find some side projects

Only suggestion is that these products and the integrity of these products be throughly reviewed by SBR staff (at the very least Justin7) before being published.

I'd be willing to provide independent reviews of any products. I am perfect for the job: enough math, computer, and business education/background, confidentiality, and NO financial relationships with anyone that would cause my integrity to be questioned.

I like it, send info to SBR

Most Apps even if very well done are free or only $1 in App store so if you think your going to charge like $5 you will sell ZERO, some slid gambling apps now that are like $1 or $2 where you can get instant line changes , second half lines, injuries, right flashing on your phone. The service/App is called Bet Sports and is well done.

Maybe a calculator but I think a few of those already out there, line alerts would be of some value via push tech on iphone.

Any basic stuff is not needed

Coach you don't need apps. You need a system that spits out winners and this is what I'm offering.

This is too much JJ, Colt does not know anything about computer programming he probably does not even know what a command line is

I would like to see a jjgold game app. Have the storyline like the thread he wrote on what goes on in his day or some kinda game where you play as jj and you have to throw candy at kids from the window. That would be great.

Jokes aside, I think this is a great idea and look forward to see what will be offered.

I have Managed In Casinos for a long time I could write up a simple count system for BlackJack that everyone could understand and use ....Also I have a roulette system that is pretty solid. I'll write these for free if the SBR members want them. May come in handy at the BASH!!!!!
