Lexington, Kentucky. It's a great college town with good party spots. If you enjoy strip clubs, they're fully nude there stuffed with UK coeds. There are great bars around the UK campus and in downtown Lexington.

Peoria to Lexington is 399 miles. Lexington to Jacksonville is 613 miles. Not quite in the middle, but decently close.

NP, I spent a few fun years in Lexington, always recommend it.

From mapquest, it looks like Charleston, WV would be as close to halfway as you could get meeting your requirements. I've driven through there many times, but have never spent any real time.

Cross Lanes, WV -- right near Charleston, WV -- Tri-State Greyhound Park and Casino is there, then you can go right next door to the Pink Pony to see some boobies!

yes, I've heard of Lejuene, didnt realize it was in Jax. Maybe thats why Id never heard, its never called Jacksonville
