when the Pirates win this from a walk off..... (prob by MCcutchen) us pirate fans are gonna allow a sliver of somthing akin to hope and dream of a miracle season...... like the freak show of 1997..... not a .500 ball club... but a ball club that competed for the division title until the last days of the season....
we won't delude ourselves that the bucs can win more than 79 games... but we will believe that Pujols, Holiday, fielder, Braun, aram, d-lee, dempster, carpenter, bruce, ect ect can ALL get season ending injuries in the next month or so..... and allow us to steal the division with an 79-83 record....
but alas after tonights victory and 4 game win streak..... the buccos will lose 7 in a row and 11 out of 13......Comment -
