    Betting & Offshore Book Question
We all know that it's extremely difficult to win long term betting and only a small % of people do. If this is the case, why is it that a large percentage of books are slow or no pay books nowadays? Is the cost of running a book so high nowadays that even beating 90%+ of the players isnt enough to pay the bills?

In what sense? Them charging the books too much or stealing from the books?

That too I guess , just not as many ways to send money out.

Crack downs on ** and ** and banks limit the amount of ways to send money.

So the cost of moving money, coupled with fewer players in general has greatly reduced the profitability of books? Is that what you think the situation is too? That's what I think.

I have wondered that myself , I would doubt any book would come out and say if they have less players then in years past.

Would have to think with todays economy the numbers are down and costs have gone up.

Keep in mind that winners bet substantially more than your average bettor. Couple that with transaction costs and if you don't manage your risk well, you're busto.
