and to add to ur list Toews is pronounced Taves. i think these people dont just want to be humiliated, no one wants their last name to be Toes, or Satan, or BI-FUGLY-EN. and Roy means 'King' in french.Comment -
well with satan the reason why its pronounced (shatan) is because in their language there is a s (which is like the amercan s )
and then there is s with this little symbol above it (~) .... and that is pronounced sh ....
since we dont have symbols above our letters it is spelled with just the regular s ...
