    Help
I made a mistake in a bet on a soccer match later today that I want to buy out of

I played -306 for team A risking 306 bucks to win 100 bucks

    current odds are

    Team A +1103
    Team B -295
    Draw +404

    Team A +1.5 -117
    Team B -1.5 +102

I want to minimize my exposure on the game, whats the best way of buying out of my bet?

I currently have it 306 to win 100
I want to have as little at risk on this game as possible, as I said, I made a mistake with my play.

I wish I could help you out, but I know nothing about soccer. Try sending a PM to Ced's shadow.

I think he may have retired for the night, though...

      Thanks for the response

      I think I'm gonna play 85 at +400 on the draw and 34 at +1079 on Team A which creates a 0 dollar gain/loss if it results in a draw and a -19 for a Team B win and a -25 for a team A win

I don't think it's the optimal distribution but it eliminates the most risk that I've found after crunching the numbers

The -306 is playing for nothing though and after looking deeper into it I think a draw is more likely.

line keeps falling as well, down to -286

either way I wanted out and will pay 19 or 25 bucks to do so, rather than lose the 306

          hopefully it'll draw at 1-1

You had me confused with your initial post because you stated you played team A at those odds and I'm thinking how did you get stuck playing such a high dog and laying so much chalk but I think you meant you played team B at -306 and the odds dropped about 10 cents and with the lack of motivation factor you mentioned you want out.

I would buy out like this

            original play - Team B 306 to win 100

            buyout play 1 - TEam A 35 to win approx 390

            buyout play 2 - Draw 82 to win 330

If your original play wins you break even, If team A wins you make 2, and if it ends in a draw you lose only 6 so the worst case scenerio is you lose $6.

better to do so, not risking all for one chance
