    mayweather greatest all time
is he the best fighter of all time.his record stands perfect and it seems when he fights he is one of the best in the game.we all wanna see him lose,we all wanna see him fight manny but what if it doesnt happen.where would he stand.what if he beats manny.where would he stand.what if he losses to manny where would he stand.does 1 fight honestly mean anything to someones lifetime of boxing.can you say he wasnt as good if he losses or can you say he is the greatest by never losing.also what should he do for the rest of his boxing carrerr should he take shots and fight top contenders.should he pick the losers washed up guys or should he just end it now fighting mosley.

i wanna know what the public and the boxing critcs have to say about this.

personally i think he has been lucky and is arguable top 5 all time no way more than top 5 if so name them.as of present boxing if it wasnt for him there would be no boxing as far as making money.just send your thoughts.thanks everyone.

No way. He's not even the best fighter of his generation. Floyd might be light on his feet and a celeb after "Dancing With The Stars" but Manny will have him seeing stars if they ever fight.

Floyd has never fought any quality fighters unless they were at the end of their career, he is a great fighter but to be considered the best you have to beat the best which Floyd has yet to do.

Floyd beat Hatton, Pacquio annihilated Hatton.

Floyd beat De La Hoya, pacquio annihilated De La Hoya.

When Floyd beats a great fighter who is in his prime he will be great, till than he is just the highest earning fighter of all time.

He kinda has to beat Pacquaio to even be considered the best of this generation being that Pacquaio is ranked #1 right now.

The record of a fighter is not everything that defines who they are. Yes it is a very important part but definitely not everything. IMO Floyd is definitely not the GOAT despite what his record says. He'll be one of the highest paid ever, but not GOAT. Which I find contradicting since Floyd is not a finisher, but he's still the highest paid boxer, yet most people pay to watch boxing to see a finish.

What I'm more interested in though is what you think about grammatical structures and the proper use of punctuation marks.

Lol such an easy argument to dismantle. When Pacquiao fought De La Hoya and Hatton, they were both even further from their prime. Go to boxrec.com and you'll find that he beat quality opposition in Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo x2, DeMarcus Corley, Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir. You have clearly only been following boxing for a few years so these names mean nothing to you but I suggest you do some research before you make yourself look like an ass.

Actually he almost lost to Zab Judah up until uncle Roger jumped in the ring to save him

Chavez 44-7 did not realize that a super featherweight with a 44-7 record was considered a great fighter

Baldomir 45-12 are you fukkin joking

Diego corrales great fighter but Mayweather once again fought him as a super featherweight

Castillo 60-10 Mayweather won by close decision in both fights as lightweights

BTW Pac fought Hatton less than a year and a half after Mayweather and beat him twice as bad, and fought Oscar a year and a half later and did something that floyd could not accomplish in 2 fights and made Oscar throw in the towel.

Seriously not to take anything away from any of these fighters but you need to take Mayweathers dick out of your mouth if you consider any of these fighters to be thought of as even in the top 20 fighters in the last 20 years.

If Mayweather wants to be the best he needs to stop fighting fighters either half his size or twice his age, and yes I have been watching boxing a long time and Mayweather is nothing more than a points fighter who only accepts fights that he can win which is great for making money but not for proving you are great,he is no Julio Ceasar Chavez he is not a fighter. Try not to be such a foolish jig in the future

lol. the pacman fans in this thread. lol. soon as he proves he isnt on roids, then we will see whose the best.

                                          As far as flyd being the GOAT.... id say this;

Talent wise he is the best i have seen. his skill is amazing. and its hard to see a fighter not get hit they way he does it.

record wise he is not the best. he doesnt have the top wins to cement a great overall record. but mosely and pac man will be 2 huge wins for him that even his haters cant deny

When you see Floyd fight somebody under 40 you will see that he is not as elusive as he appears, i.e. Zab Judah.

ring has mosley at number 5. and they have marquez at 3. floyd haters dont like to admit he has some quality wins.
