We have been having floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, droughts for thousands of years. The problem now is the earth's population is 10-20 times more what it was 2000 years ago so when a natural event happens more people die because they live too close to the river or at the beach or over a fault.

I remember back in March, 2005 I spent a month at S.Padre Island, TX while all the kids were on spring break. In 6 weeks time well over half a million students cover this very small island at different times of the spring break schedule. During the month I was there there was 3 deaths on the island and people on the mainland were appalled.

I understand if you were the parents of those 3 kids it is the most horrible thing that has ever fukin happened. But when you put 400,000+ 18-21 year old kids, drunk, on a 2 mile wide island on the Mexican border & only 3 dies, I call that a fukin miracle & want a recount

Your worrying is unfounded. The likelihood is that if a catastrophic event that affects you directly occurs there is a high probability you will be dead upon it initially happening so you won't feel it anyway. If it is something worldwide and irreversible suicide is the best option. I never understood the survivalists whose sole goal it is to scratch out a meager existence if society collapses (they have been waiting for it to collapse for a long time now might I add). Grinding out this type of existence with hunger and fear for years until death does not make sense to me.

Remember that people can take advantage of you when you're scared. They want something from you so they feed you some scary story and offer the solution to it.This has been the modus operandi of religions since the beginning of recorded history.

So stop worrying live your life without fear and have lots of sex because sex is fun.
