According to a report from WCBS-TV in New York, Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was arrested for rape early Thursday morning. Taylor, who spent his entire career with the Giants, was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police after being accused of raping someone in the Holidome Hotel in Montebello, north of New York City. Taylor, 51, has had a number of run-ins with the law since retiring in 1993, mostly due to drug problems that have plagued him since his playing days.
