curious- yes, many times rain is better for the over but from what I'm hearing it's coming down pretty hard and it's gusty.

Betting the under if it unpredictably starts raining right before a game is a great play; but betting the under for games that are not going to begin for a long time isn't the weather forecast already going to be factored into the line?

Louis-You are correct for the most part but the wind is the most important factor.

Also, if it's just raining it's no big deal. If it's pouring then it is a big deal.

You have to find out the wind + the degree of rain. Punching in weather.com is one of the most accurate sources on the Net but it's not perfect.

It's better to use a different source.
