    Guys,

I joined BR this week and so far this week it is a losing one, however my main question is about their NHL capper. He is 0 for 4 and is his form what is causing the loss.

I asked them a question about the NHL picks and they advised not to cherry pick as hopefully the other cappers will cover his losses, but I really wanted more info! are the NHL picks generally poor? as I have no problem missing the odd winner on the NHL if you are saving more by not playing those picks.

I know there are several long term members on here, anyone spare 2 mins just to let me know their thoughts on the NHL picks, I would appreciate it

    Thanks

This is your first week and you have seen only 4 picks and you are complaining already. IT IS CALLED VARIANCE. Losses are bound to happen and that is why money management is key to beating the bookie! They started 0-4 to start the week but now its past middle of the week and they have won 7 of the last 9 plays to compile a 7-6 record to the week so far. They played many games ranging from +130 to +225, so their performance is lot better than their record for the week indicate--this is also the case with bettingresource in the long run--they release many games in the range of +130 to +180--so their performance should be measured by looking at the ROI rather than winning %. They will produce a + ROI even when they are hitting 47 to 50%.

Take a look at this week's results so far....the ROI is about 20%. Normally a capper would have to hit over 60% with standard -110 odds to achieve 20% ROI. But here we see them achieve 20% while hitting about 53%. Of course this is a small sample size but this is a good example of how their service goes in the long run.

So far into the current week:

    7-6-0 (53.85%)
    Risked 83 units
    Returned 100.16 units
    Profit +17.16 units
    Yield +20.67%

this is true when it comes to marketers/scamdicappers which make up 99% of the pick sellers. But there are some legit handicappers out there who are worth paying.

How can you get the BettingResource.com picks?
To beat bookmakers, bettors and cappers have to walk together.

I have to say all of my years watching so many tout services come and go and scam everyone, I dont think Bettingresource is one of those types of services at all. I have followed thier records now for a couple of years and they seem to be 100 % legit and transparent. They are a bit pricey but according to their records they seem very solid indeed. They would most likely be the only Tout service that I would join long-term for sure. What makes them so solid is the fact that YOU DONT SEE their plays anyhwere at all ??

That tells me they run a Tight ship and look out for their clients. All of these other touts their plays are all over the place.

At this point they are most likely the Top Tip service going. Only other guy out there that stands behind his true figures is Dr Bob. Love em or Hate em he doesnt hide behind anything.

                Thats my Two sense anyhow.......................

                  well said paw.

like you said bettingresource is not one of those services that lasts few months then disappears to come back with different name. they have been around through tough times and great times.

they are one of the most underrated tout services out there. since they honestly update their results, an average gambler, don't realize the value of their picks. Average bettors look for unreal 65 to 70%, you don't see results like that at bettingresource because they honestly update the record. I saw in another forum when a poster bashed bettingresource because their yield/roi for the regular picks is about 12%. 12% yield in over 4 years with over 2500 picks is huge and very hard to maintain. Bettors who bash such numbers got used to joining scamdicappers claiming unreal records and when they see a honest and realistic result they don't appreciate it...
