How long does poison ivy rush take to go away?

I pulled out some weeds with bear hands in my yard yesterday and I was told today it was poison ivy. Apparently you are not supposed to touch it but to my defense there were no warning signs to not touch it posted.

It itches a lot and looks bad. I put some baby diaper rush cream on it to sooth the pain.

Get some stuff at the drug store called tecnu. I used to get in it all the time & that is the only stuff that will dry it up quick

You can try somthing over the counter,if It gets worse dont screw around with It.....Go see a doc and get some Prednisone.

im allergic to the shit so it usually pretty damn bad for me (i had it last for weeks), i usually go get the shot that really helps, the shit Profit said is good also, and take benadryl, if you can get your hands on Pregnazone (sorry cant spell) that shit makes it go away pretty quick

its the only thing that works. I've had poison ivy countless times. I'm allergic & I can just get close to it & I'm eat up. I grew up playin' in the woods so I have dealt with it many times

I used to get it real bad when I was a kid, not an issue for me anymore. Calamine was a waste, didn't really do all that much.

Tylenol never heard of it ..little trick with the opiates, if you dont want the itch (which i dont mind but sometimes the tip of my nose will drive me crazy) just pop a Benadryl when you take the pills and bam no itch, helpful hints from the banker

i am an arborist and have had poison oak, ivy and sumac in the past...this stuff works really well for me...usually starts to dry out the poisons within 24hrs...good luck paver!

i am an arborist and have had poison oak, ivy and sumac in the past...this stuff works really well for me...usually starts to dry out the poisons within 24hrs...good luck paver!

I used to clean out fencerows with a weedeater, and it would sling the juice all over me sometimes. This is the only thing, trust me, the only thing, that will kill it quick.

By the next day it starts drying up & the next day it's gone
