Colt do you have brothers named Jeb and George?
If anyone has an ivy league education here they are most likely a legacy. What about Canadian Ivy's ?

Yes Sir Pavy. If u only have book smarts, u will be eaten alive. Problem solving here does not have formulas and series of elimination. Well, i guess it does use a formula of elimination

You seem like a fairly nice lady. I suggest you get away from this forum now before you reach the point of no return

Total bogus B.S. hype degrees.
The most hyped and overblown estimation of something's worth in the world is a commie pinko, social science fluff degree from an Ivy league college. The most whacked out socialist faculty in the world reside at these devil's workshops and they have ruined this country and they teach others to carry on ruining the country. The diplomas are so worthless that they have to keep huge rocks around at the graduation commencement to weight the diplomas down so they don't waft away in a fluff cloud.

There are probably only a handful of posters on this forum with any type of degree. You should start there.
i got into a few ivy's Cornell, Penn, & Brown.. Georgetown as well.. but that's not really an ivy.. I decided to go to University of Michigan as i found that ivy league schools were all over hyped and I wasn't born Rich..
I wanted the whole college experience with sports and fraternity as well as education.. Michigan offered all of those things as well as a first class education. Michigan is a ivy league caliber school as our engineering , law, and business schools all finish above the ivy leagues year in and year out.. as well as other programs...

thats cool.. i am actually the one michigan fan that will tell u i actually have a love hate relationship with them.. i hate them cause i have to.. but i respect them for what they stand for and how much their fans love them...
u know that HBO special they show every year before the big game.. the one that is all about woody vs bo .. that shit was filmed like days before Bo died.. i almost cry everytime i see it because its just overwhelming with feelings from both fans.. really a beautiful thing..
my favorite part of it is Desmond Howard talking about how till this Day they curse him in Ohio.. He says he walks down his own streets and people are like "DESMOND HOWARD FUK UUUUU" and he just smiles and waves back THANK YOU!!!. That guy is a class act

I am a software engineer and finished top of the class in undergrad. When I applied to Master's degree in top engineering schools, I ended up getting offers from Cornell, Columbia and UPenn (all ivy league colleges)...but I declined all their offers and chose Georgia Tech instead because they are top 4 in the nation for engineering after MIT, Stanford and Berkley. The ivy league colleges arent good for Engineering (except maybe cornell).
I am planning to do my MBA in few years down the lane and will be applying to ivy league colleges as most are good in MBA. I am sure I would get in most of those.

I wonder what exactly your job is at the Uni of Penn. You surely don't sound intellectual enough to be an actual prof.

Upon review of the posts in this thread it is apparent no poster has an Ivy League education (not that there is anything wrong with it)

So you declined the Ivy League to go to the most expensive public school in the country for non-residents? No way would I be paying for "The Michigan Experience" if I wasn't a resident. Sticker price as of today for a 4-year education for a non-resident is $175,444. Maybe the sticker price was a little lower between 2002-06, but not substantially.
If it wasn't for Granholm's "No Worker Left Behind" program, 6 months of unemployment, in-state residency, 2 years of community college (funded by MEAP test money), living with my folks and commuting from SW A2 to Campus on my bike / the AATA for 4 years, working a part-time job on the side I would not have attended Michigan.
It's a good school. But it's not better than the Ivy League. A lot of people want to make it out to be because this (for whatever reason) is the #1 destination for all the East Coast Ivy rejects who have a crap load of money. Those people are everything that's wrong with the University of Michigan (although they fund our school).

Its not quite an ivy league education but when I graduated high school in 2005 I was accepted to Upenn as my early decision school. I could not ever in any way afford that so I go somewhere that is 1/4 the cost. If I came from a wealthy family I would have gone.
