He certainly deserves to be in the Hall. Those writers are either jealous, or feel “elite” to be such arrogant jerks denying a great pitcher his rightful spot

    Who's world Kracken?

The world that censors free speech and offers re-education?

It's a dangerous road with many pitfalls that the left wants to drive us down.

No doubt that Schilling should be in the HOF.
That said, I know there are more than a few writers who
do not want to vote for him out of a fear of what he would say at
his induction ceremony. That is a legitimate concern.

The character clause should be tossed out. In its place, any
player found guilty of a felony and/or any player permanently
banned from the game is no longer eligible for induction into the HOF.

Again, some try to draw lines in the sand. If it's *this* offensive, then that justifies it for you. Yes, DeNiro has called for the death of people on the other side of the political aisle. And no, that shouldn't factor into whether he receives an acting award any more than Schilling's social media posts should factor into an award for his ball playing.

The difference between Schilling and Bonds/Clemens, however, is that (unlike the latter two), Schilling has a genuine chance with the Veterans Era Committee.

Talking about no respect, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and Barry Bonds all deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. People forget but they, mainly Mark and Sammy, saved baseball!!! Don't give a fukk if they juiced, there are many that juiced that are in the Hall

We are the last of the people that will actually care about the hall of fame

the honor and prestige will fade a bit day by day and year by year.

when it comes down to it, any player that is truly great. Will have more youtube or whatever new video platform emerges videos made by them. The hall of fame of the people will emerge organically online and the players that were followed because of their fame and greatness will have more availability to be seen and learned about, by a much greater audience in one day, then will ever go to cooperstown in person anyways.

this is shit you won't find made about 90% of hall of fame members, just one click away
