Well ya'll I am off to the rack but I am going to try and call one in myself and advise them to check all parlays as many bettors might even after knowning the situation decide to take shots just because they can...

I thought I would find ONE person that would be honest enough to say "ok look I had a good thing going and was f*ckin' them up good and it's bs they took my money but I knew what I was doing I'll admit it"... That takes honesty which many in this world don't know the meaning of... Bullsh*tting, saving face, acting stupid or whatever you want to call it doesn't work...

Now, now, I took the high road in my post where I said your only allies were CPR & the 'tard. No need to call me dishonest when I'm far from it. I expect that you will retract that sir.

I will ...just tell me you knew exactly what you were doing or at least admit you are taking shots now.. I know it's like 8 cents or whatever but it's the principal... Admiting knowing is what I am looking for... Drunkin' I read almost everyone of your posts.. I know you are not stupid and I know you knew what you were doing I am just trying to get you to admit it is all... SO ADMIT IT DAMNIT... my as* tired!

                  Unfortunately, I will not admit.

If I was a bookie running a site, I would go through each game each week and lock out the ones I didn't want parlayed. If I failed to do so or missed a game and my players hit me hard then you know what? Too bad for old bookie Drunken! I make a mistake, I pay. You make a mistake, you pay.

To me, the definition of a shot taker is one who does not take responsibility for their mistakes. To me, that describes Sportsbook.com and not the players who were stolen from.

I'm not going to change your mind. You're not going to change mine. Finito. Time to start 'capping some .

Shams, if indeed you are a long term player at the Sportsbook.com family, you'd know they stopped taking phone bets long ago, so you cannot "call in" any wagers.
As far as correlation and your bolded statement of their 09/15 rules, it's a license to steal for the book, and they are now doing so. They are retroactively determining what is correlated in their view. They can say ANY 2 bets are correlated. Same game/total, 2 teams in the same division/conference, etc. The degree of correlation is not up to the player to determine, that's what Book software is for. If the bet is disallowed BEFORE THE FACT, that book detemined correltion is too high. If it's allowed, that book deems it OK. End of story. To call players who bet these shot takers is ridiculous. They are advantage bets, and that's what we are all looking for. Presumedly we're all trying to win, and will bet any side, total, parlay, teaser, etc that gives us the best shot at doing so. Any open minded, realistic person cannot possibly defend the stealing of funds by this family of books. One of their own licensees ha reversed the decision for their customers. That's a good 1st step. More will follow if pressure is applied by places they advertise at. Unless one's pockets are being lined by them, like the RX Forum owner, who admits he disagrees with their position, but is willing to take their tainted money as it's just as green as clean money, one cannot support these actions in any way.

Something just dawned on me. (Not that anything matters much anymore, but still.) They say they posted this rule on 9/15, right? They admittedly voided wagers back to 9/1, right? What's wrong with that picture?

I am a long term player but have never placed a bet over the phone except my futures SBowl bet... You can certainly call and ask about it... Why is that so hard to do..? Why can't someone even now call and ask about a parlay that they want to place before they place it..? If they see it in their terms and conditions don't act like you didn't and place it anyway or take what you think is the right definition..call them and tell them the parlay you want and see if it's allowed...

Asking people to do that seems like I am asking them to shovel coal.. Your arguement about what they think is or is not a correlation is the same one I had with Greek deciding what is and what is not a bad line... We went over this with the Greek two months ago and it was not an "OBVIOUS" bad line... Don't act like Sportsbook is the only one that does this... Hey if I was a bookie I would move lines faster and if I got beat because I am too slow guess what?? I would not void the bets I would just take the loss and pay... Why can't they move the lines fast enough why is that ok because it's an unwriten rule..?

Finally most books don't f*ck with you because you got them on a bad line they f*ck with you because you keep getting them on bad lines and that is how they decide if you are a so called wise guy... I would like to see these people tickets... You and I know it would not take many bets to determine what kind of bettors they are...

Here is one from "Rebel Yell" at the Rx.

I don't post a lot but have been following the industry for several years. J C and The Guesser have been around for a long time and I respect their opinion. We have all seen a lot of books go down. Most were advertisers at the major forums. Most kept their clients money.

Sportsbook.com has always had a bad reputation for customer service because they operated on more of a corporate level than some of the old school books did. I have played there for seven years and had never had a problem with wathdrawals. I was slow paid this spring and summer, like a lot of customers, but I understood that this was because of the increased difficulty in money transfers.

The industry is now weaker than it has ever been imo. I can't know for sure but I assume that business for offshore books is down drastically this year. Sportsbook.com can not be allowed to get away with this. (If you take a bet, you pay if it wins) Their decision puts the whole industry in a bad light. Forums who agree with their decision and/or continue to take their advertising dollars are contributing to the growing distrust and lack of confidence that players have in offshore books.

                              Mr. JC on therx has something to say about theRx ownership supporting Sportsbook.com's theft;

"This is a robbery, plain and simple. I can't believe you are trying to rationalize your decision not to toss them.

They screwed up. They took the bets. They have been around a long time. This wasn't their first day with new software.

Correlated or not, they should not be given a pass here.

This is what the industry has come to. Not only is any D rated sub par book welcome to advertise just about anywhere these days, when they pull a blatant robbery on a number of players, the advertising outlets keep telling themselves this time is different.

Not the first time it happened here or anywhere else. Remember when BOS stole all that bonus money back in the Spring of 2006. Everyone agreed BOS was wrong, including the moderators of this site, but everyone refused to drop them as an advertiser.

Keep sliding down the slippery slope."

LOOK MAN... it's very very clear what happened here... Their T&A changed which it says in every book's T&A that I"ve read....the T&A can chanage at any time... I have never recieved an E-Mail from a sportsbook telling me their T&A has changed and that I should go and read it... It's very simple...no one read it and if they did read it they are playing stupid... They either didn't read it or didn't care to read it and THEY STILL DON'T (me included)... Some are STILL putting them in even after knowing about it just because they can... A SHOT TAkER!!! I called and ask them if I can put in a certain parlay.(correlated first half of the same game) they said NO and said they are still trying to adjust their software to disallow them but the CS rep. reminded me that it is in their T&A...and like many of you if not allll of you I still haven't read it all... If anyone after knowing this still put a correlated parlay in without asking I hope you win.... then i hope they tell you to f*ck yourself and not even give you the original bet back... I bet you won't try that sh*t again!!!

                                Parlay or Multiple Betting
No parlay wagers can be accepted where individual wagers are 'connected' , 'dependant' or 'correlated'. For example, one wager in your parlay is for Sampras to beat Agassi in the 4th round of Wimbledon and the second or additional part of the parlay is for Sampras to win the overall Wimbledon title. The match forms part of the overall tournament and is therefore 'correlated'. In the same way, you cannot parlay the total of the first half of a football game with the total of the game line itself, as the two are 'dependent'.

Don't worry too much John. I've been doing battle with him as much as anyone and it doesn't faze me at all.

If JC, a man with the integrity to fight the ridiculousness of the US Justice system and go to jail for what he believes is just believes 100% (as he does) in the players' cause here, then I don't think that Shams' ramblings (Shamblings?) are gonna cause any of us to lose any sleep.

I know it was Euro Qualfying games that got me out of bed this morning, not the Shamster.

You have all this time to defend a D book that makes you jump through hoops for a lousy 8 bucks, but you can't find a few minutes to send them the info for processing your payment. SB is so lucky to have you as its lap-dog

                                          Woof! Woof!
You want my $800 faster then I do... If I really wanted it that fast I would get up and do it... I already mentioned for the manyeth time (like the T&A though it's not like people read it) that I am simply too lazy to go to "Rite-Aid" and do it... I also would rather wait for my friend to bring his fax over so the attendent doing the faxing doesn't see all my info... Is that ok with you or should I do it TODAY??? I am not coming to SBR b*tching about having to send info. like so many in the past...

It's not being a lap dog it's being reasonable... I even called them and told them I am just lazy right now I'll get to it.. They said fine...

HH, you know we're on the same side of things here, but personally I would devote more energy to bitching out MW & TheRx for flying their banners than at the crew here for not downgrading them even further.

Already sent emails to wilheim@therx.com and
person19481950@yahoo.com for that very reason, but have no response yet. As far as SBR is concerned, I have no gripe---especially since they had SB pegged right all along. I am just wondering if a downgrade is imminent. BetUSA was already rewarded for breaking ranks and I just think it's time SB pays the price

PS How do I get in touch with MW to express my disdain?

Up until today, Sportsbetting.com, part of the Sportsbook.com family, was one of our advertisers.

Eye On Gambling is dropping them due to the fact that they admitted to stealing money from 31 accounts; the total amount is at the minimum in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

EOG will not and cannot condone this behavior.

Sportsbook.com can't retroactively cancel winning parlays because they finally recognized there is a higher than normal correlation between certain events. They have been accepting these parlays for years. It was their poor internal controls that allowed them. They need to lick their wounds, adjust their software, and move on.

Until Sportsbook.com makes this situation right with the players being STIFFED, EOG refuses doing business with them or any books associated with them.

Furthermore, although just a mere drop in the bucket, EOG intends to PAY OUT the players who were robbed from the pro rated amount of money we have left from their advertising contract with us. Eye On Gambling urges all of its competitors to do the same.

Sportsbook.com should not be given a pass here. They need to know there are consequences for their actions. The gambling community needs to take a unified stance here.

If Sportsbook.com reconsiders its position, EOG reserves the right to do likewise.

To the first bold statement... Ummmm yes they can... It's in it's T&A that bets can be void at anytime... This also includes parlays incase you don't know that... The Shrink admits Sportsbook.com has been screwing themselves by taking these but since they have for years...............

To the second bold statement... Something smells about this....

One thing I have definitely learned about people in my life.... They will take advantage of you if they can for as long as you allow them too.. It could be 10 years and when you finally decide to make them stop they act like you're the bad one for that and they expect it to continue...

The people that run Sportsbook.com couldn't have much of an idea on public perception... You play it like the global elite do with us... They first should have taken your winnings AND stakes then closed your account.... This would have caused an even bigger outrage... Then after a day or two agree to give everyone their stakes back and open their accounts with a "please forgive us as we are updating our software to make sure this does not happen again...throw you a small bon(e)us since that is one of the reasons these TYPES of players are there and look like a peach at the end...

First off I asked if what I posted was accurate as of 9/15... then DL asked me what my opinion was on dates between 9/1-9/15... I assumed he was saying for arguements sake let's say it was added on 9/15 but as I said we don't know when it was added in... "I THINK" they are claiming 9/1...I don't know though... Where the hell do you get DL KEEPS telling me it was added after the fact...? We don't know what day it was added and since it's likely that you didn't read the T&A anytime in the last four months tells me you don't know either and don't act like you do...
