For anyone who didn't watch the fight, this is where shane hit floyd with a solid right and almost knocked him down. (Never been knocked down in his career) Not a good angle to see how close he got to the canvas, but his knees buckled good.

Also the slow motion doesnt show how hard of a punch it really was.

lmao... what? do you watch boxing jj? there would be no takers at -340 for money. i'm reminded of his bought with de la hoya when people said pacman had no chance.

money looked better than usual last night because he was fighting mosley, who looked better his last time out against margarito who was distracted after being caught with plaster in his wraps.

you're wrong jj, absolutely wrong. that line will be even, with a slight favor towards pacman.

well by all means, if some books already have a line out for a fight that doesn't yet exist that must be a line that is representative of what it will be come fight night.

Too many uneducated types nowadays that would have fit in 2000 years ago in the gladiator days. There is nothing skill ful or entertaining about 2 guys swinging at each other until one gets knocked out. This is why street brawlers and ufc fighters don't make shit compared to boxers. (Mayweather will probably clear 40 million)

I agree JJ... I'd lay at least that much on Mayweather. His boxing skills is incomparable plus I'd bet he's much faster than Manny hand speed wise. Manny overwhelms his opponents by out working them (throws about 90 punches a round). Mayweather throws half that amount but his defense is so good that opponents can only hit him 15-20% of the time. He will counterpunch Manny to death.

If you saw Manny vs Clottey, Manny was taking a lot of shots as he's had in many of his fights. I saw several weaknesses in Manny's game and he's susceptible to right hand leads and uppercuts. Mayweather is extremely hard to hit and can lead with his right (doesn't throw much uppercuts though). Add all this with the fact that Manny is much smaller and the perfect storm is waiting for the Pacman. I can see Manny getting frustrated like Shane was last night and then he will take chances. I don't think he can take as much punishment as Shane and could get knocked out. The only chance he has in this one is if he's on the roids again which Mayweather will make sure he's not.

Boxing has always been the same, the difference now is the big fights are in the low weight classes and not in the Heavy weight class.

Pacquiao top pound for pound fighter in the world...this fight would be AS good as the Thrilla in Manilla, or hagler hearns, all the greats..

EXCEPT, i think they both would dance around for 12 rounds...Wouldn't be like Ali Foreman, Ali Frazier 1 or 2 or 3 (thrilla) which is the greatest fight of all times. For those of you who don't know about it, check it here, Epic...both guys could have died in the ring had it gone on much longer.

This is just a little taste, watch the whole thing on Youtube..incredible stuff

There may be a few boxers like Mayweather and Paq that make a ton of money but there are alot of MMA guys making money. That is why there is about 10-12 UFC PPV's a year and boxing has like 1 or 2 a year now.
