The only time I ever watched LOST was in the Emergency Room the night the Steelers won the Super Bowl last year.

Lost is a great show. If you start watching it check out Alan Sepinwall's blog, he's a tv critic and huge fan of the show. He does a great writeup of every episode.

The Onion's AV Club does an excellent job with write-ups as well.

You guys are disappointing. Lost is a terrible show. Shows like The Wire, Oz, The Shield put shows like Lost and Prison Break to shame. Shows that once made sense. Now people will watch anything with retarded twists like a goddamn M. Night Shyamalan movie.
Give me a solid plot and good dialogue over gimmicks any day.

Gotta disagree here Key.
I loved The Wire. Possibly the best television show of all time, but that doesn't take anything away from Lost. Lost is a lot more about the characters and their development than it is about "retarded twists." The writing is very good, and the twists in the show aren't there just to grab the viewers attention, they are actually consistent with the overarching themes and plans for the development of the show.
IMO, comparing Lost to Prison Break or 24 is blasphemy. Though I will admit that those two shows can be entertaining, especially season 1 of Prison Break, they are straight up action works, something Lost definitely is not.

Terrible show. Bad writing, bad directing, bad editing, and perhaps the worst part, bad acting.
No thanks, I like my TV good.

Lostpedia is a Lost-related wiki with over 6,000 articles, 25,000 registered users, and 150 million page views. It was launched on September 22, 2005, one day after the Season 2 premiere "Man of Science, Man of Faith" aired. Kevin Croy was the owner of the site, until the site merged with Wikia on December 17, 2008.

I don't really get why you want the answers if you're not interested in the show. Basically there are no quick and easy answers to your questions. It's what gives the show so much depth and makes it interesting, while at times making it frustrating as well.
If you take the time to check out Lostpedia you will see a question and answer section that can help you out.

I don't know. I've watched seasons one through four. Jumping to and from the island, jumping back and forth in time, at some point you have to say enough is enough. You don't need that much "stuff" to make a show good. I don't care if Kate wants to fukk Sawyer, or about a baby, or about the Asian couple. I just stopped caring. I just wanted some fukking answers, but every show was literally a new question.
Always makes me laugh.
